Now the user is created you need to reset the password using User manager. Remember DO NOT give this user Remote Access: Once you’ve chosen a password the user creation wizard will allow you to continue. The Dashboard still won’t let you create a user with no password so create the user you need and give it an easy password. Forcing passwords on people who aren’t used to them will just limit the effectiveness of having a home server. Plus it makes it easier for users and encourages them to use the server. There is a lot to be said for forcing everyone to use passwords but in a home environment where physical access to the server is limited and network access is at least narrow I really don’t see a problem.
